Bereavement Leave
Bereavement leave benefits are available in the event of death of a member’s immediate family. Any member covered on the full plan (not on self-pay) who is available for work during the time of the bereavement leave is eligible for bereavement leave benefits.
Refer to the Bereavement Leave section of the Health Benefits Plan booklet for more information including definition of “immediate family”, the level of compensation, and how to submit a claim using the Bereavement Leave Claim Form.
